About the Project
The HotRot facility was installed at this remote site complete with a sorting table for inspecting waste prior to composting. Compost from the facility is used as part of growing media for local trees and shrubs to be planted for site remediation. The plant is still operating in 2026 alongside new equipment to cope with an increased workforce.
