About the Project
Selwyn is one of the first NZ councils to install kerbside collection of kitchen organics. The facility is designed for incremental expansion to 5 HotRot 1811s. Two units were installed initially in 2006 and a third unit was installed in late 2010. Plant closed due to low volumes of food waste v garden organics
