HOTROT 1206

COMPOSTING UNIT

TAKING ORGANIC WASTE SERIOUSLY

1206 laucala.jpg
The baby of the HotRot range, the 1206, is designed to process food waste from canteens and commercial premises. The standard unit is supplied with a bin-lifter feed unit but can also be supplied with an integrated dewatering unit for increased capacity.

The HotRot 1206 unit consists of a steel/stainless steel insulated hull. A stainless steel central tine-bearing shaft runs longitudinally through the vessel. This shaft is rotated periodically and provides mixing and aids aeration. Aeration is further enhanced by periodic air injection using a low-pressure system mounted external to the hull.

SPECS

The HotRot 1206 can be positioned outdoors in temperatures down to minus-20 degrees Celsius. However, as feeding is generally a manual operation it is normally recommended that the unit is placed under a roofed area for worker comfort and protection in inclement weather.
