HotRot Screwtech Augers Shaftless augers are the preferred equipment for material transport. Shaftless augers are fully contained prevent access by vermin and eliminating material loss and odour release. While often more costly than belt conveyors initially they more than pay for themselves in lower maintenance and clean-up costs.

HotRot Screwtech augers typically use a u-shape trough (generally 304-stainless) lined with a UHMWPE wear liner and sealed with lightweight stainless steel lids. Screws are normally manufactured by wear resistant steel (i.e., Bis-80 alloy). Where possible push-drives are used to ensure there is minimal restriction on drop-out zones. Where multiple augers work together, safety interlocks are provided to guard against blockage or failure in one auger causing upstream damage to another unit.

HotRot Screwtech augers are generally fully manufactured and tested in the factory before shipping. Augers can operate in all weather conditions but heat tracing may be required in extreme cold climates.
